Bio – Dr. Hope Pamplin

Dr. Hope Pamplin is an energetic educator and leader who has a passion for counseling and teaching. She is committed to students and believes that a student’s behavioral and emotional state plays a direct role in academic achievement. A native of Austin, Texas, Pamplin attended McMurry University in Abilene, Texas where she received her undergraduate degree. Pamplin earned a Master’s degree in counseling and her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University.

Dr. Pamplin is a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified school counselor, administrator and a trained/certified mediator. Dr. Pamplin is also the founder of a non-profit organization, Windows of Hope, Houston. The nonprofit organization provides counseling and educational resources to assist students and families. She has authored a TEKS based counseling manual, The ABC Counseling Workbook, which targets academic issues while addressing behavioral concerns (Pamplin, 2013). Using all her gifts Dr. Pamplin utilizes her skills and passion to serve and better her community.
